A hat is an expression of self.
Toppino Hats tells the story of each person’s personality. A hat, long considered a distinctive accessory, allows us both to reveal and to conceal ourselves. It expresses, at once, our sense of belonging and our individuality.
It is what we carry on our heads—in every sense.
Origins between costume,
art and performance
The project takes shape through Veronica Toppino’s journey: from costume designer in theatre and television to artistic collaborations across various fields—including fashion, music, and design. All worlds built on stories told through clothing. From this background comes the idea of a brand that brings together technical skill, aesthetic awareness, and a constant exploration of identity.
Toppino Hats is creative tradition
Each hat is hand-shaped using traditional Italian millinery techniques: a three-dimensional process that requires experience, precision, and time. Felt, straw, and natural materials are formed on antique wooden blocks, like small sculptures.
Alongside tradition, the brand explores unexpected materials, allowing textures and material qualities to suggest new formal directions.
It is a dialogue between heritage and experimentation, where craftsmanship meets a free and personal aesthetic research. The result is a collection of unique pieces, designed to accompany the wearer over time.
